Now we’ve seen what’s on the runway and we kinda see that these are the new fashion trends for Fall 2009.

What!, it’s not even summer 2009 yet.

That’s okay, read about Summer trends and start getting ready for Fall 2009.

When shopping for your fall wardrobe, keep the following in mind and if you don’t want to buy a single thing on this list, don’t you worry.

Just remember some stuff while talking to your shallow fashionista friends and then namedrop like crazy or say something  like

“It’s not really about being ‘the Prada girl’ or ‘the YSL girl’, “There are so many choices out there – there are clothes for all the women you might want to be.

said Vogue’s fashion director Lucinda Chambers after the international fashion pilgrimage that came to an end in Paris last night.  Trust us, it works.

The Era:

The Eighties.
Do you want to revisit the eighties, if you are old enough to remember it.
All these designers do: Vena Cava, Ashley Isham, Marc Jacobs, Alexander Wang, Basso & Brooke, Giorgio Armani, Emanuel Ungaro, Ashish, Betsey Johnson, Julien Macdonald, Gucci, Balmain so you just know it’s going to show up in the stores.

The footwear:

Some things have stayed the same. Ankle boots – heeled: wedged or stilettos .

So, unless you dare to wear waders a la Prada, Costume National, Rick Owens, Viktor & Rolf, Chloe, Antonio Berardi, Louis Vuitton, you can keep your ankle boots and all.

Remember your gladiator shoes? You can keep them because it looks like they are not going anywhere, at least not out of style yet.

The Jewelry:

Big and bold, it looks like.

Chunky jewellery as seen at Michael Kors and then shown at Louis vuitton Fall 2009/ Winter2010. Sure we know these beauties are plentiful at Home Depot and we certainly are not suggesting that you throw industrial strength gate security detail around you neck.
