Victoria Beckham like a school teacher
A worldwide style icon, Victoria Beckham was said her image has changed to fit in with laid-back LA style since she’d moved to California last year. She has another opinion though:

It hasn’t, not at all. I am very British in my style. Think school teacher.’ She adds, ‘I love pencil skirts and fitted blouses, classic cut dresses and well fitted jeans mixed with classic tailoring.’
However, it is hard to agree that she always looks like a ‘school teacher’. For instance, this summer Victoria was spotted wearing flip-flops at Disneyland, while she is almost never seen out of her trademark high-heel stilettos. Posh claimed not to have any flat shoes, not even a pair of the ballerina pumps which are so popular with celebrities now.
What should First Lady wear?
Inauguration day is coming closer so everyone is very curious about the fashion choices First Lady would make on the big day on January 20, 2009.

WWD.com has presented a number of designer sketches for Michelle Obama’s ball gowns.
Here are the ones I liked most, but you can check out the site and pick your favorites.
Victoria Beckham unique style
Victoria Beckham has a chequered fashion past. With the release of her new Dress Collection, which has been flying off the shelves at Selfridges, she seems to have finally turned the corner and is earning the respect of the fashion world.
But lest we forget, she was not always as fashion savvy as she is now. In fact, it has taken her 10 years to get it right. Here, in all its glory, is a retrospective of the changing style of Posh
1. It’s 1997 and Victoria is starting to show her own unique sense of style. See how she’s cleverly used a teddy bear hide to jazz up a simple velvet jacket
In the words of Jarvis Cocker: lets all meet up in the year 2000. Or perhaps not, if this is what you’re going to wear, Victoria. This leather bondage gear really does nothing for Posh’s image

We love this sophisticated look from 2003 …
…but then Victoria attends a Monaco fashion event in 2005, wearing what appears to be a turquoise and green handkerchief by Roberto Cavalli
By 2007 Victoria has moved away from the shrieking Italian designers she once favoured (Versace and Gucci) but she still has a way to go. In this Roland Mouret dress the effect is less Audrey Hepburn and more Jackie Collins
Victoria wears Marc Jacobs and seems to have got rid of all that was Waggish about her. This dress suits her, rather than just showing off her bones or her riches

Megan Fox: my tattoos don’t make me trashy, they’re beautiful
Megan Fox has said she thinks it’s really old-fashioned that people think she’s “trashy” because she’s got some tattoos.
The Transformers star has nine separate pieces of body art – mostly lines of text – dotted around her person and she said recently: “Everyone hates them because they’re closed-minded about tattoos.
People who don’t like me, as far as fans go, always talk about how I’m trashy because I have tattoos. I find that insane!
This is 2008, not 1950. Tattoos aren’t limited to sailors. I find them beautiful, so I’m going to keep doing it.”
Sanaa, Ana, and Kim All Wear Michael Kors
Jumpsuits have been all the rage this season, and this black Michael Kors jumpsuit seems to be the celebrity favorite.
Sanaa Lathan, Ana Ortiz, and Kim Kardashian were all recently spotted wearing the strapless jumpsuit on different occasions, although it was Oscar winner Jennifer Hudson who wore first a few months ago. As for who wears it best, Ana and Kim get points from me for adding a belt.
The belt visually breaks up the piece and almost gives the illusion that it’s actually a strapless top paired with black slacks.
All three ladies look fab, but I think Kim’s look is my fave. She makes it look so glamorous with her oversized shades and flowing locks.

Celebrity Selling Power
Famous celebrities make their mark as fashion early adopters. Whatever Miss Celebrity has, then girls and women want to incorporate into their own fashion persona. Everyone who is interested in looking fashionable, makes an effort now to style themselves with accessories or quirky combinations of clothes. In fact this is what women always did before the dressed down looks of the 90s under the guise of grooming.
Now we say a look is styled, or a person’s look can be improved with a bit of styling. In recent years TV presenters/influencers Trinny Woodall and Susanna Constantine have spouted wardrobe opinions on TV’s ‘What not to Wear’. The TV programme challenges frumps who are locked in a fashion time warp, to a restyling. Over the last decade, the presenters in their turn, have become celebrities.

Claudia Schiffer style
Animal prints can be tricky; but done well they’re a bold and eye-catching choice. The faint at heart should try adding touches with a tiger print bangle or leopard print pump, but for real impact go for a printed dress and make it the focal point of your look. Take a tip from Claudia Schiffer and keep it loose and flowing, with simple black accessories and flat pumps to contrast.
