Diane Kruger, 33,  told WWD:

“The first time [Calvin Klein reps and I] met, they gave me a sample of the fragrance,”

“If you want to endorse something as an actress, you want to make sure you that what you’re actually endorsing is something you can sit there and with a straight face and [represent.]”

“Everyone has a different idea of what beautiful is and what beauty should be,” Diane added. “It touches everything and surrounds us all. It’s also the way you want to live your life. You can find something beautiful in everything and everyone. If you focus on the beautiful, your life will be much happier.”

April 2010 celebrity perfume news!

A lot of celebrities create perfumes with their names and some of stars participate in the creation of original flavored aroma and smells that are either very popular among customers, or not. Many of actors, musicians, models and socialites are the faces of popular fragrance brands.
Diane Kruger is the new face of Calvin Klein Fragrance called Beauty. The perfume will be launched in Fall 2010. The actress will make a series of photoshots and TV ads that will be seen around the world.

The Spanish actress Penelope Cruz is a new face of Lancôme’s Trésor Fragrance. The ad campaign shot by famous photographer Mario Testino in Paris in April 2010.

Trésor was introduced in 1990. Earlier, L’Oréal worked for Trésor perfume ads with Kate Winslet, Isabella Rossellini and Uma Thurman.
Many celebrities make the perfumes not only to add this to resume, but for the benefit of others. For example, Desperate Housewives actress Eva Longoria introduced own signature scent for allergy. It allergy tested and approved.

Eva Longoria Parker evolved her own scent because she is allergic to many ingredients. The result of the work is sexy day fragrance, warm and fresh. Perfume Eva by Eva Longoria Parker was presented at her Beso restaurant in Los Angeles in April 2010.
